All donated artwork will be exhibited exclusively online. 100% of the proceeds will go towards Give2Asia's Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Fund. For more information about the fundraiser, click here.

Junko Mizuno & Mizna Wada Art Exhibits

FLORA DELIRIUM 4

FLORA DELIRIUM 1

Last Saturday, Nucleus opened two new exhibits featuring Japanese female artists - Junko Mizuno and Mizna Wada. The show runs until December 6th. These are two of my favorites from Junko Mizuno.

Dunny Love

Working at an art gallery can be hectic, especially right before an opening exhibition. Artwork needs to be photographed. The event needs to be promoted. The gallery space needs to be prepped and painted. The list goes on and on.

But there's a period of time at the gallery when things get quiet. That's an opportune time for me to look through the new products at the store and put my employee discount to good use.

I love my new balloon-head dunny. By far, one of the coolest.

Moonshine Recap

Man, I'm pooped. We had a great showing tonight. The Dreamworks artists definitely delivered the goods. Here are some of my favorite images from the night.

Moonshine Preview

Setting up an art exhibit is tough work. Since I've been working at Nucleus, I've been learning the in's-and-out's of art gallery operations. It can be overwhelming - sales, inventory, packaging, shipping, photographing merchandise, website maintenance, event promotion, customer service, etc. But it's really rewarding when your event comes together.

This Saturday, we're opening a new art exhibit called Moonshine. It will feature the personal work of Dreamworks artists. And my buddy - Roy will be playing the banjo for your enjoyment as well. Don't miss it! http://gallerynucleus.com/gallery/exhibition/251

Moonshine. Opening Reception on Saturday, August 14th. 7pm-11pm.
